“Ex Libris” is a Latin formula meaning “from the library of”. This will be inscribed on the back cover, above the name or initials, in order to indicate the owner. The use of “Ex Libris” was commonplace in 19th century Europe, as an elegant formula for linking a book to someone's library.

It will take us approximately three weeks to craft the clutch. All the By M. Book- clutches are one-of a-kind handcrafted in the finest Neapolitan Bookbindery in Palazzo Marigliano.
